Year 4

Bowles Outdoor Ac vity Centre

Year 4 had an amazing adventure at Bowles Outdoor Ac vity Centre . The children worked together in teams to complete challenges and pushed themselves to achieve personal goals . There were so many different ac vi es to enjoy ; rock climbing , the leap of faith , orienteering , skiing , ra building , archery and even a campfire ! The children showed their passion and enthusiasm throughout the three days away and were a delight ! Bowles was amazing ! It was probably the most memorable experience of my me in Year 4 . All the ac vi es were so fun , and it was an opportunity of a life me that I could have never accomplished at home . The Leap of Faith was scary , but fun-scary . It helped me overcome my fear of heights . Sophia
LEAP OF FAITH
Ladder shaking , feeling like it ’ s breaking , Oh no , children are shaking . Apocalypse of fear , Peeking down with a frown . Feeling like I might bellyflop , Screaming loudly as I fall from the top , Feeling thrilled I made it !
Louis and Carla
As we got off the stuffy school coach , I could taste the excitement in the air . I couldn ’ t believe we were finally here . An instructor showed us around and explained all the rules . We then went to our dormitories to change and get ready for our first ac vity . We stayed for three days at Bowles . My favourite ac vity was dry slope skiing and I hope I get to do it again . Bowles was my best trip so far . Max
