Painshill Park
Year 2 became Plant Explorers for the day at Painshill Park ! They began by sharing their knowledge of the structure of plants and learnt about how seeds disperse to find a suitable place to grow . Next , they explored the woodland habitat in search of natural materials to build micro gardens . They worked collabora vely and crea vely with impressive results !
We played a game where we were seeds and we had to move in ways that seeds travel to find light . Some seeds twirl around like helicopters , some roll like a ball and others explode ! Max
We looked for flowers , leaves , stones and s cks . We even found a cen pede ! It was fun finding all the stuff . Next , we made a garden with lots of insects and trees . Ours was called the garden of life . Maxim
