Scooter Training
In our Scooter Training workshop , we learnt the importance of the four C ’ s : Care , Concentra on , Control and Considera on . Following these rules will help us to stay safe when using our scooters to travel along pavements and near roads . We learnt to do an emergency stop , the importance of staying near an adult and that we should always dismount and walk when crossing roads . We finished the session with a game of ‘ Grandma ’ s Footsteps ’ which was lots of fun !
Year 2 Na vity Plays
The children were excited to perform their Na vity Plays en tled ‘ Are we Nearly There Yet ?’ The story followed the parallel journeys of a modern family on a walking holiday , and Mary and Joseph on their way to Bethlehem . The children delighted with beau ful singing , energe c dancing and accomplished ac ng , all put together with a sprinkling of humour throughout !
