EXTRA-CURRICULAR MUSIC
Our Music Department is proud of the opportuni es it offer sour children outside of core music lessons . In addi on to the main performances in school , pupils also par cipate in events such as charity carol singing . This year we were invited to perform with the Upper School Choir outside Kew Gardens Sta on for the local charity ‘ React .’ Our choirs also perform in external events where opportuni es are available .
Instrumental playing is a strength of the school . We currently have over 120 children having individual lessons in school , and many others are learning with external teachers . We can offer lessons in Piano , Guitar , Violin , Viola , Cello , Flute , Clarinet , Recorder , Saxophone , Drums , Oboe , Trumpet and Trombone . Our peripate c team is enthusias c and will always welcome new musicians .
The Music Department provides many extra-curricular clubs . Whatever your musical interest or instrument there is a club that will suit !
This year the Music Club list has included : Rock Band , Kool Tunes Choir ( Upper School ), Recorder Club , Beatz Drumming , M : Tech ( Music Technology ), String Group , String Quartet , Junior Vocal Group ( Middle School ), Infant Orchestra , Young Voices Choir ( Infants ), Keyboard Club and Wind Band .
