WORKING TOGETHER
Teamwork was nurtured throughout the sessions . The children worked together to problem-solve and explore their environment . During den building , a wonderful narra ve could be overheard as the children nego ated how to complete their structure . String was used to bind the branches in place and mud cemented the cracks between them . Others supported their friends in climbing trees and shared their crea ve ideas . Under careful supervision , the children learned to try new experiences and ini ate ac vi es . One team even constructed a zip wire under the watchful assistance of the Forest School Leaders . In the final session , children were tasked with collec ng kindling for fire wood . A warm and invi ng camp fire ensued and children were invited to enjoy toas ng marshmallows and popping corn over the flames .
