1922
The journey begins with Jan Keune in the backroom of a downtown pharmacy. He became the first perm manufacturer in Europe.
1950
Keune introduced hairspray to the market & unveiled one of the first aerosol hairspray in Europe.
1977
Became one of the first companies in the world to introduce gel to the market.
1990
The colour journey began with the launch of Tinta Color, a professional permanent colour range. 2023 saw the passion for Tinta reignited with refreshed packaging and formulation.
1992
Our portfolio expanded with the introduction of Semi Color. It was then reignited in 2021 with refreshed technology, new packaging and enticing new shades.
1995
Established permanent roots in Australia & New Zealand.
1996
Keune’ s Care range was born- a prescriptive home-care collection powered by essential minerals to nourish the hair and scalp. As we celebrate 30 years of Keune ANZ, Care is getting reimagined in 2026.
