Hello to all my Carnivalista Fashionista, lol- this month’s tip goes out to you!

As you all can probably tell I'm feeling very festive and enjoyed every minute of carnival this year. Honestly, this year I got my first true feting experience and trust me when I say "I don't know how you all do it". I mean fete after fete, fashion statement after fashion statement? It's been really taking a toll on your girl, so much that I even came down with the infamous ‘Carnival Flu’, but I won’t have it any other way.

So with that said, today's tips is all about being fashionable on a budget. Yes, we’re going there again. I'm sure I’m not the only one that these carnival festivities have been financially affecting. It’s been taking a serious toll on a girl's coins, especially being a fashionistas who wants to look brand new at every event I attend. So here’s an important tip that has worked wonders for me that I’m going to share with you today.

When shopping for clothes, ‘Neutral colours’ is key - Yes Neutral colours! You know Black, Brown, White, etc. These are the items that can be switched up from time to time and can even look brand new if your mixing and matching skills are on point. Trust me, it has been prove!

So instead of having to purchase a brand new outfit for every event, you can simply switch it up by wearing a different hairstyle, accessories, colour tops, pants or shoes can give your fashion style a unique flare. Sometimes we think that to look like a million bucks you need to spend a million bucks. I disagree, sometimes you can try spending some ‘creative currency’ as I like to call it and see what your imagination can help you create.

In closing always remember to always be yourself and don’t be afraid of standing out. I hope you all continue to enjoy these simple yet very insightful tips and I look forward to sharing many more. As always, I like to end on a positive quote, so here’s a little reminder to keep in mind this month- ‘Nothing can Dim the light that shines from within’.
