news The Kent Gateway Area Panel panel e th m o fr e g a s s e M Panel members recently took part in Dementia Friends training, learning about how we can make little changes to support people living with Dementia. The panel supports this great training, which is being rolled out to customer-facing staff across AmicusHorizon. It also contributes towards the panel’s priority of reducing stigma surrounding mental health issues. Want to know more? Visit www.dementiafriends.org.uk Our priorities The Area Panel has set three priorities to focus on over the next four years: Giving something back „„ Anti social behaviour „„ Money matters „„ Neighbourhoods. We’ll give you feedback on how we’re progressing. Join us! Did you know you can join the panel, even if you’re not named on the tenancy for your AmicusHorizon home? We have a space available, so if you’d like to make a positive difference to AmicusHorizon service delivery, please get in touch. And remember any resident can observe a meeting, even if you don’t want to join. We hope to see you at a meeting soon! Kent Gateway Area Panel and staff members volunteered their time to ‘give something back’ in early December. We surprised Kent Gateway residents aged between 69 and 75 years with goodie bags. They contained useful information from Age UK, Crisis at Christmas, our Money Matters Team and the Neighbourhood Furniture Store. Thank you to everyone who gave up their time to help with this worthwhile project. 8  - 0800 121 60 60    - [email protected]   - www.amicushorizon.org.uk
