a e r a r u o y in Winter wonderland We held the mid Kent end of year celebration in December at The Swallows Leisure Centre in Sittingbourne. The young people kept themselves busy making Daleks and visiting Santa’s grotto. Parents got to ‘chill with a cuppa’, meet the Area Panel and give us feedback on the service they receive from us. Kemsley Community House Kemsley Community House has had a make over! It’s now a very welcoming centre ready for residents to use. We’ve lots going on: „„ NHS health trainers are working to support you „„ Kent Adult Educations – family courses. „„ We are running Job clubs and computer clubs. One happy resident said: “I just wanted to say a huge thank you to AmicusHorizon for putting on such a wonderful event. It was great seeing so many families come together during this festive period and spend time together as a family.” „„ Social clubs to build support networks and skills „„ Kids clubs on a Monday and Tuesday. It may have only opened its doors a year ago, but Regis Gate, our Extra Care scheme in Milton Regis, is buzzing! Over the festive season residents enjoyed a Christmas Party, seasonal craft and table decoration making, as well as a Carol Concert performed by local school pupils from Regis Manor.
