East Kent Area Panel Chair, Linda Scamp and
Vice Chair, Bob Goodger presented staff and
students at the Abbey School, Faversham with
a cheque for £2,000.
The money was allocated from the Area Panel’s
Local Improvement Fund. The grant will fund facilities
for students to improve their chances of finding
employment or further education. Part of the grant
will also support a healthy eating after school club.
The Area Panel Chair commented: “We’re happy to
help in providing the best possible start in life for our
young people.”
Swap and Move
A festive fayre!
We celebrated the end of 2015 with a
Christmas fayre at The Alexander Centre in
Faversham.
Pupils from The Abbey School helped out with
activities for local youngsters, including biscuit
decorating and chocolate snowball making. The
Abbey School also provided the refreshments.
The new Swap and Move service has now
gone live.
It can help you if you want to move. You can swap
your home with another housing association
or council resident both locally and nationally. A
home swap is also known as mutual exchange or
house exchange. Find out more at:
www.swapandmove.co.uk or visit our website:

The event featured visits from a number of special
guests. Father Christmas put in an appearance as did
the Frozen princesses Elsa and Anna!
