Here are some of the most exciting new developments for the fiscal year ahead .
Hidden Talent Program
KeHE is working on a new program to find qualified associates among military veterans and spouses , immigrants , refugees , asylum seekers , those with disabilities , and survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking . These previously untapped resources can enrich and provide diversity to our talent pool .
Fair Chance Hiring Program
KeHE has also begun to explore opportunities to hire formerly incarcerated individuals to give them a chance to achieve and grow outside the criminal justice system .
KeHE Innovation Headquarters
KeHE opened our Innovation and Growth headquarters in Boulder , Colorado , this past year . Situated in the heart of downtown Boulder — a mecca for the natural foods industry — the new 10,000-square-foot location is home to KeHE ’ s innovation and growth initiatives , including business development , corporate brand development , KeHE ’ s exclusive brands , and Fresh Marketplace efforts .
This new space is ideal for industry gatherings and networking . The building ’ s conference capabilities allow retail , supplier , and industry partners to meet in an environment uniquely connected to the local environment . Elements of the surrounding community , along with KeHE ’ s history and food culture , permeate the building , providing attendees with an inspirational hub to push the industry forward . Future plans include a studio kitchen for food and content production , a podcasting suite , and a digital planogramming room .
