Bioscience
Whether it’s the air we breathe, food we eat or
environment around us, Biosciences covers many
areas of science which have an impact on our
everyday lives. Our exciting bioscience subjects
can be taken on their own as a single honours
or in combination with other subjects like
Chemistry or Psychology to create a programme
tailored to your interests.
At Keele you’ll examine life at the most intricate level, discovering
what organisms are made of, how viruses work and other animal
models. You will particularly focus on human and animal life and
may choose to study areas from essential biochemistry, health and
disease, emotions, evolution or our impact on the world around us.
This is an exciting time for Biosciences here at Keele. Our excellent
academic staff ensure that we remain at the forefront of international
research. You’ll love working in our fantastic labs, working with
state-of-the-art equipment and developing cutting edge techniques.
Previous students have enjoyed our opportunities for study abroad,
