Skills and careers Our Biochemistry course aims to produce highly motivated graduates who are suitably prepared for employment in bioscience jobs (e.g. biotech companies, research laboratories), and well equipped to study for a higher degree; many of our graduates go on to complete master’s or PhDs. At the same time, you will develop and use a range of key skills that are suitable for employment outside these directly related subjects. For example, Biochemistry graduates often go into areas, such as accountancy, where numeracy and an objective scientific approach to problem solving are valued. Placements provide not only practical skills training, but also valuable employability skills, opportunities for personal development and enhancement of graduate attributes. The experience you will gain will prove particularly beneficial in your final year and in the early stages of your career. tions lar combina Popu and Biology, Biochemistry nce, and Neuroscie ry ist m Bioche ry ist em Ch d an Biochemistry Good to know Biochemistry has scored 100% student satisfaction in National Student Survey, and our teaching staff h
