Nursing: Post-Registration

BSc Specialist Community Nursing
The programme is designed to be multi-professional,
and is therefore attractive to a range of qualified
health and social care professionals aiming to gain
a first degree. Each pathway is designed to develop
and enhance your application of specialist theory to
your practice area.
Content of programme (two options)
Core to both options:
• Specialist Community Nursing Practice
(30 credits)
The programme will offer health and social care
professionals the opportunity to study for an
undergraduate degree in an area relevant to their
professional practice and interests. You can choose to
specialise your degree in one of a range of optional
pathway modules, or select from a range of modules
to make up a generic route. The programme will
be delivered through a range of blended learning
approaches (which will include lead lectures, tutor
and student led tutorials, case study presentations,
simulation, experiential learning, web resources and
course workbooks).
