International Business Key Information Overview Our MA in International Business seeks to develop well-rounded, thoughtful and reflective professionals with excellent skills that will enhance career prospects. It takes a critical perspective towards contemporary attitudes to management, engaging with debates regarding the future of capitalism and the often problematic relationship between globalisation, organisation and the wider social environment. You will be challenged to engage with tutors in such debates and consider your own future role shaping business and society. Alongside lectures and seminars, you will be encouraged to compete for opportunities to enhance your experience through competitively allocated domestic student consultancy projects where you can learn on the job. Various modules promote applied thinking and engagement with real businesses. Our teaching and learning strategy draws on our academic community’s commitment to critical engagement with the practice of business, reflected in a range of theoretically and practically oriented modules. Following successful completion of the taught components, you will develop your own critical project through completing a research dissertation or reflect on everyday practice when successfully appointed to a student consultancy project.
