Morgan
Davison
MA in Human Rights,
Globalisation and
Justice – 2012
Since graduating from Keele,
I have served as a Community
Health Peace Corps Volunteer
in Ethiopia, where I spent
nearly two years working
on gender issues across
Ethiopia and creating
awareness and sustainable
development programs.
I am currently working
as External Engagement
Advisor on the Department
of Homeland Security’s
(DHS) Blue Campaign.
The Blue Campaign is
the unified voice for the
department’s efforts
to combat human
trafficking. I work with
a range of stakeholders
including government
agencies and private
and public sectors
to raise awareness
and educate the
public about modern
slavery.
What do you
remember
about Keele?
One of the things
I remember most
about Keele is
the kindness of the people.
From the moment I arrived and even now after I’ve
graduated, I have always felt supported and encouraged. Every day
I use the experience I gained on the course. I am constantly amazed
at the quality of education I received and how applicable it has been
throughout my career. I remember the discussions in the classroom
and the hours spent in the library. It is all worth it now. It really was
the opportunity of a lifetime that I am so grateful for.
How would you describe Keele in one word?
“Transformative“
