Whether it’s the air we breathe, the food
we eat or the environment around us,
biosciences cover many areas of science
which have an impact on our everyday lives.
Our exciting bioscience subjects can be taken on
their own as Single Honours programmes or in
combination with other subjects like Chemistry
or Psychology to create a programme tailored
to your interests.
You will focus in particular on human, animal
and plant life and may choose to study areas
including essential biochemistry, health and
disease, emotions, biodiversity, evolution or
our impact on the world around us.
This is an exciting time for biosciences here
at Keele. Our excellent academic staff ensure
that we remain at the forefront of international
research. You’ll love working in our fantastic
labs, working with state-of-the-art equipment
and developing cutting edge techniques.
Previous students have enjoyed our
