We are the home of arts, humanities and social sciences at Keele. Our world-class research
and education programmes focus on many and varied dimensions of human experience
and on the full range of cultural, economic and social challenges we face in a fast-changing
world.
The Faculty’s four Schools prepare our students for a future of creative and productive
teamwork in the world of work and beyond, whilst seeking to ensure that they will
continue to be responsible, engaged citizens of the world. Our Language Centre offers a
wide range of study opportunities in many other modern languages as well as providing

Our Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences is one of the UK’s leading centres of applied
research in primary care and is consistently in the top-ten rankings in disciplinary league
tables and the National Student Survey. The Faculty offers a full range of clinical
undergraduate courses which are underpinned by research-led, evidenced-based teaching.
We remain firmly focused on the quality of the educational experience and developing
effective close partnerships with local acute and community-based NHS Trust organisations,
who host our varied range of clinical placements. Schools based within this Faculty are:

our Faculty of Natural Sciences is central to this. Our schools build scientific skills and
awareness of the issues relevant to both our sustainable development and quality of life.

for all our students. We constantly invest in our facilities and have just completed a £45
million investment in science. The new state-of-the-art facilities include new laboratories
