NEW VETERINARY SCHOOL
The Harper & Keele Veterinary School provides a five-year
programme leading to a degree in Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine
and Surgery. Training is delivered on both Keele and Harper Adams’
university campuses, in partnership with local clinical providers
and industry partners.
During their studies, students will be able to benefit from Harper’s
long-standing reputation in animal sciences and have access to their
farm and companion animal facilities, alongside Keele’s experience of
establishing a leading UK medical school and significant recent
investment in facilities such as state-of-the-art teaching laboratories.

THE SMART ENERGY NETWORK

Climate change is the single biggest global threat to ever face us,
the effects of which are increasingly starting to be felt. The Keele
University Smart Energy Network Demonstrator (SEND), a European
first, is an at-scale environment providing a platform that allows
energy generation, distribution, storage, forecasting, and energy
balancing to be intelligently carried out across different energy sources
using the Keele University campus as a genuine ‘living laboratory.’
The SEND will deliver better energy management, reduce reliance
on fossil-fuel derived energy, significantly reduce energy waste and
provide the opportunity to trial innovative ways of energy use and
management.
