196 | Liberal Arts and Natural Sciences These inspiring new degrees build upon our founding commitment to encourage students to look beyond their own subjects and fields. Flexible programmes enable students to choose pathways which reflect their interests and through that they will develop a range of disciplinary and interdisciplinary skills. Our Natural Sciences and Liberal Arts degrees draw upon expertise across humanities, social sciences and natural sciences, and both may be followed as either a three-year programme or extended to an integrated four-year Master's. The courses bring Liberal Arts and Natural Sciences students together at Keele Hall for the Institute’s Grand Challenges lectures and their joint learning sets. Here, in the architecturally inspiring spaces of Keele’s former stately home, stimulated by the interdisciplinary approaches offered by our eminent speakers, the students work together to explore their ideas and generate new understandings for approaching today’s urgent questions. If you are open-minded, creative, inquiring and excited by the challenge of exploring interdisciplinary boundaries and want to engage and make a difference in your community then Keele’s Liberal Arts and Natural Sciences degree programmes could be right for you. keele.ac.uk/ilas Our courses within Liberal Arts and Natural Sciences • Liberal Arts (SH) • Natural Sciences (SH) 198 199 For further information on entry requirements please visit keele.ac.uk/entryrequirements
