Geography at Keele allows you to focus specifically on your preferred area of Human or Physical Geography, or to explore Geography as an integrated discipline concerned with people and their environment. Our focus on climate change, global responsibility, sustainability, and the application of professional geographical skills to real-world situations will prepare you for a wide range of careers and for life as a responsible global citizen. Our “you matter” personal approach to learning, backed up by an individual tutor system and small-group teaching, gives you support to develop your skills and knowledge rapidly. Keele Geography features regularly in the top ten of the National Student Survey, including number-one ranking for overall student satisfaction in 2015, 2016, 2018 and 2019. Recent investment in new, state-of-the-art teaching facilities supplements the outstanding “living laboratory” of our beautiful campus in the grounds of a former stately home.  To suit your individual interests, you can combine the programme’s core modules with your choice of specialist options. Year 1 provides a strong foundation on which you can build high-level knowledge and research skills. Taught by highly-qualified staff, the course includes both local and overseas field trips, work placement opportunities and training in professional skills such as Geographical Information Systems.  What will this mean for my future?
