How to apply
Details of how to apply to KMS postgraduate courses
can be found at keele.ac.uk/pgapply
Application to our programmes is online and you
will find the link on the webpage of your chosen
course. Just click on the ‘Apply’ button on the top
right hand corner of the page. You will need to have
your personal statement and scanned copies of your
transcripts and certificates ready to upload with your
application. You will also need at least one academic
reference.
Before you make your application you just need
to check that you satisfy the entry requirements which
you will find on the programme course pages. As a
general rule you will need to have at least a good
second-class honours degree (usually a 2:1) or the
overseas equivalent. Some programmes also have
subject specific requirements. If your first language
keele.ac.uk/kms
is not English you will also need to check that
you have the required level of English language
proficiency. Generally this is an IELTS score of
6.5 (with no subtest lower than 5.5), or you should
hold a previous degree which has been taught and
examined in English.
If you are an international student and don’t meet
all the requirements for your course you might be
eligible to take the pre-Master’s programme at the
International Study Centre, keeleisc.com.
Once you have submitted your application the
University will acknowledge receipt within 24 hours
and then send you the decision within 10 days.
