Olivia graduated from Keele in 2012 with a BA Human Resource

the HR department for Sainsbury’s before returning to Keele
to study the MA Human Resource Management. Stefan joined us from the Netherlands and since returning
home has secured a job with an accountancy fi rm

a professional qualifi cation as a registered accountant. Matthew also completed his undergraduate degree at
Keele Management School where he studied Business
Management and Finance.
“I’m pleased I carried on with my academic development,
I really enjoyed my three years at Keele, and by undertaking
the Taught Masters course in Human Resource Management,
I really wanted to push myself and widen my knowledge
of HR. “Living on Keele campus has been a wonderful experience.
The Keele community is something special and it feels
amazing to be a part of it. Christine certainly made the most of her time at Keele
Management School. In the last issue of our magazine we
reported on her success in the Keele Bloomberg Investment
Competition and her visit to the Head Offi ce of Aviva in Canary
Wharf, London.
MA Human Resource Management
“I believe the Masters course has undoubtedly enhanced my
skills, confi dence and overall my employability, and placed
me in a good position to secure my new role working in
recruitment for the British Transport Police.”

MSc Finance and Management
“The MSc Finance and Management provided me with
in-depth knowledge of fi nance and a solid foundation
in the other aspects of management. The lecturers each
have their own area of expertise and this has given me the
opportunity to discuss fi nancial and management matters in
detail, increasing my understanding of the taught material.”
Lyane Bartlett
MA Management/International Business
Lyane completed her undergraduate degree in Business Management and
Criminology at Keele before taking a year out to travel. Having decided to return
to Keele to study for a Masters degree, it was the MA International Business
programme that drew her attention.
“While returning to Keele after a year away was daunting, I knew that it would be
just as welcoming. I settled into the course straight away and began to really enjoy
all my courses, even signing up to be PG Rep on the Staff Learning and Teaching
Council as well as a StARS Rep for my course.
“The Creativity weekend convinced me to apply for the Student Consultancy
projects and I successfully secured the project at Stoke City Football Club. I believe
I was able to make a great impact there, something that would never happen on
other Masters courses and something unique to Keele.
“I am currently working as a Consultant for a local public sector organisation
and plan to utilise everything I have learnt with a long-term goal of becoming a
Business Consultant and am currently looking at routes into this.”
Finance Programmes
“Arriving at Keele I immediately noticed the quiet and serene
environment and cosmopolitan student population. I had the
opportunity to interact with different people from across the
world, learn many different cultures and understand the world
from a different perspective. Keele University did more than
offer me a fi rst-class education; it offered me the opportunity
to grow as an individual, equip me with transferable skills and
broaden my way of thinking.
