6 Venture / KEELE MANAGEMENT SCHOOL Our students walking the high wire Developing creative students KMS full-time postgraduate students are encouraged to develop a creative approach to management and business through the Creativity and Personal Development module, also known as ‘The Study Trip’. I n multidisciplinary groups, students undertake a series of physical tasks, work together to come up with creative solutions to genuine company problems and finish with a culinary challenge by creating and serving a three course meal to Keele academics, company representatives and fellow students. The physical challenges students tackle include walking a high wire, scaling the wall (with a little help from their friends!), getting creative in the classroom and finally the culinary challenge! Three course menus: • Lemon Chicken (Chinglish style) • Spiced Pork Stew with Coconut • Raspberry Coulis Pavlova to share • Trio of Oatcake filled with tastes from around the world • Duo of Chicken Curry (Malaysian and Sri Lankan) with Rice and Naan bread • Set Milk Pudding and Stewed Fruit Compote to finish Chicken Curry It gave me a chance to work with a diverse team. It increased my confidence and widened my knowledge.
