Keele Management School
Two students enjoyed the Keele Management School experience so much they have
stayed with KMS from undergraduate to postgraduate and even a PhD!
Paul Webster
completed his
undergraduate
studies in
2017 and
immediately
enrolled onto
our MA
International
Business
programme.

“My time at Keele Management School
has been a fantastic experience.
I studied Single Honours Management
for my undergraduate degree and
found the course consistently
fascinating and deeply rewarding.
I was pleasantly surprised to find that
I could also be flexible in my module
choices. I studied modules in topics
such as American History and
Documentary. This really broadened
my horizons and added an additional
element to my business degree.
Having achieved a first-class honours,
I was eager to supplement my academic
knowledge with contemporary work
experience, and so I attended the
BeMore Professional event in Keele
Management School. I enjoyed the
content from a variety of lecturers who
were passionate about their subject and
without the BeMore event; I would not
have considered enrolling for the KRISP
programme at Keele. Through the KRISP
programme I was able to undertake an
internship at a local Cloud Computing
Business called Prompt PC working as
a Charity Marketing Associate. This has
provided me with invaluable experience
in the world of work.
I was delighted to receive ‘Student of the
Year’ in Management and decided that
I would stay with Keele Management
School to study an MA in International
Business. I chose to continue to study in
KMS because of my interest in deepening
my undergraduate knowledge and my
keen interest in the modules on offer here.
In addition the staff are always friendly,
personable and provide excellent support.
I have found the experience so far to be
incredibly rewarding and I look forward to
continuing my studies with Keele over the
coming year!”
“If it wasn’t for the staff at Keele,
I never would have believed that
I was capable of doing this!
In this sense, my courses here
have been invaluable for my
personal development.
Bethany Edge
studied for
both her
undergraduate
and Master’s
degrees in
Management
in KMS and
has stayed with
us for her PhD
in Critical
Management
Studies.
The variety of modules available during
my undergraduate studies was far
more diverse than other Universities.
The relatively small lecture groups meant
that the academics always had time
for any queries I had and I loved the
beautiful campus environment.
During my MA by far the highlight of
my course was the opportunity to work
in industry on an applied company
research project.
I’m currently studying for a PhD in
Critical Management Studies, specifically
looking at gender identity in pharmacies,
while working as a Graduate Teaching
Assistant teaching management modules
to undergraduate students. It’s really great
to give back to the school, as they have
been so supportive of me throughout
my journey.
Keele is such a supportive environment
to learn within. During your undergraduate
studies take full advantage of the
extra-curricular opportunities available.
In an increasingly competitive job market,
in hindsight, it would have really enriched
my CV, if I’d chosen, as
