Dr Pawel Capik, Lecturer in International Business, delivered his paper discussing the role of strategic partnerships in the internationalisation of British Small Born Global firms to the Academy of International Business Annual Conference in Reading. His paper outlined new dimensions in the role strategic partnerships play in the process. For some it is a cost-efficient route to foreign markets whilst others exploit them as a business exit strategy.
