Golf clinics and a Monday Scramble help players improve their games
Golf clinics are ideal for providing value-oriented , traditional instruction with a focus on fundamentals and troubleshooting problem areas in your game . Afterward , you ’ ve got to take what you ’ ve learned onto the golf course .
That ’ s the driving force behind the thrice-weekly Hokuala clinics and Monday Scramble on the Ocean Course .
Clinics are offered from 1-2 p . m . on Mondays , Wednesdays and Fridays , at $ 45 per clinic . The Monday clinic covers all aspects of the game , while clinics on Wednesdays embrace the short game and Fridays emphasize the long game .
“ It ’ s a fun atmosphere to learn about the golf swing ,” says Director of Instruction Kellie Hines . “ You get a refresher on your game and learn from a different golf professional .”
On Mondays , the special add-on is to apply those lessons learned and play the course in a Scramble format . Play starts at 2 p . m ., after the clinic has concluded . Cost for the clinic and Scramble is $ 229 for adults and $ 189 for juniors , which includes rental clubs if needed . Golfers can join anytime .
