Here , he talks a little about his personal life and his role at Hokuala :
What are your responsibilities ? To be the best steward of the land and the most supportive leader to the people of the Ocean Course at Hokuala . I help develop programs that share the Aloha spirit of our staff and enhance the experiences we create for our guests .
What brought you to the islands ? I felt the connection to the Aloha spirit of the people , and the terrain reminded me of Alaska without the harshness of the cold and dark winters .
Best thing about working at the Ocean Course at Hokuala ? The team of people that I work with .
What do you remember most about living in Alaska ? You can ’ t help but be in awe of the grandness and ruggedness of the Alaskan landscape . And , the people of Alaska are always willing to help their fellow person because if you don ’ t the wilderness will win .
One thing people might be surprised to know about you ? I really am living the best life I have ever known .
What do you consider your greatest achievement ? Becoming Director of Golf at the Ocean Course at Hokuala , and being ready to lead in a supportive way .
What do you like to do in your spare time ? I love to play competitive golf because of the heightened focus , the adrenaline swings , and the test of the mental game . I also really love to spend time with my family . ...................................................................... > CLICK HERE to read more about Thomas .
