Project to replace tee markers with ironwood is inspired by nature

New tee markers and cart path murals will share stories about some of the creatures of the sea .
Throughout Hawaii , and especially here on the Garden Island of Kauai , we share a deep connection with and appreciation for the nature that surrounds us each and every day .
One of the ways we ’ ve chosen to deepen that connection at the Ocean Course at Hokuala is by ensuring our guests feel that appreciation as well . And as we looked at all of the various touch points that golfers have with the course that leave a lasting impression on their experience , we realized that adding an element of nature to our tee markers would be a terrific starting point .
With that in mind , we recently began a project to have all of our tee markers handcrafted
