The artwork you see throughout this catalogue is
made by hand in the Elk Valley of British Columbia
by glass artist Katherine Russell. Katherine
graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts as a glass
major from the Alberta College of Art and Design
in Calgary. Her training in glass has taken her
all over America and Australia as an apprentice,
taking master-classes, attending glass conferences
and participating widely in exhibitions. She blows
glass out of a studio in Black Diamond, Alberta
and does her kiln-work in her home studio
in Elkford.
