Many put their ambitions ahead of everything else. Others don’t need to be seen or surrounded by admirers because they are fully devoted to creativity in their own world. Despite their success, stars don’t have it easy. They have possibilities that common people can only dream of. But this seemingly perfect, tempting world can turn into a nightmare in a flash. The admiration of hard-core fans can quickly transform into destructive fanaticism. They lurk around every corner prepared for a merciless hunt, without ever realizing the deepening abyss between themselves and their idols. Prejudice, false information, and lies are created about the stars, which can ultimately bring them to the edge of life and death. Endless possibilities are squeezed into a small survival space, the only shelter from crowd madness and the hyenas out there. As a result, the external and internal environment is separated. Some, however, can keep ambitions and creativity in balance. They are loved and hated, condemned and celebrated, overrated and put on a pedestal, but also humiliated, eventually unappreciated, and forgotten. But the admirers of such talents keep looking up to them. With enthusiasm, they pay homage to genius, if it can be seen. Sometimes, however, it’s hidden from the world and perfectly silent without others suspecting anything. People are often blinded and feel contempt for true genius if they don’t ride in a shiny limousine or pose in front of eager paparazzi. And so it happens that rare originals rot in dusty thrift stores, while their copies adorn the walls of prestigious galleries. Surprisingly, their former soulmates can play a significant role in this. The joy of creativity and a common dream is replaced by a possessive desire to control and plunder the stars’ work.
