The Patina Paintings * Construction Site * were for a period of time placed at a building site , where they had been exposed to dust , drops and marks left by different building materials as well as sporadic creative pursuits of construction workers . During the construction of the K20 building of the Kunstsammlung NRW some canvases were present on site to capture the process . Only 2 canvases survived and Patina Painting 127 , Construction Site Kunstsammlung NRW is one of them .
