par la chasse il y a des années, dans la région des Highlands, où les arbres se font

connections between Scotland and Canadians in the North run deeper than mere
ancestry. Did you know that bannock is a Scottish type of bread? That the wildlife
in Scotland includes seals and ptarmigan? The walrus and bears were hunted to
extinction years ago, but in the Scottish Highlands, where trees are scarce, tundra
plants still grow. Peterhead fishing boats were first built in Scotland too. And, by
the latest count, there are 421 Scottish words for snow!
