No Warning I’ll be damned if I be a slave again They tried to cause me so much pain Got my mind becoming unraveled I went to the road less traveled Saw many faces Been to so many places White man got his foot on my neck But I'm ready to get them off my back They tried to throw me off track Like a cat with nine lives I'm back I'm privileged to be black Never denied my roots Laying down rhymes with no booth I'm free at last My ancestors have shaped my path People doubting me fueling my wrath I won't be in the corner selling nicks and dimes My mind is filled with rhymes Want to borrow some? Naw I'll keep them to myself Let me enlighten you Show you some truth Let my words meditate in your brain If u dont take the message i cant be the one to blame By: Yvens A.Darilus First Issue: Puissance Noir 13
