AL: Would you tell us a bit about yourself. How would you describe your personality?
AP: I'm French. I am 47 years old, including 10 on Second Life and 5 on Flickr. Photography on Second Life is for me a creative hobby that allows me to get less bored.
AL: How did you find Second Life?
AP: In 2007, there was a buzz about Second Life in France. I heard of concerts of famous artists, cities, museums in 3D. I had also seen a report on a man who claimed to make a lot of money for being a gigolo. All this aroused my curiosity.
AL: How did you get interested in SL photography?
AP: I began by taking portraits of people I met, especially female avatars, which occupied my time in-World. I realized that people were generally quite happy with it. So I got into the game. That is how I became the "Paparazzo" on Flickr. I am a rather shy boy and my English is very limited, so photography came as a very good way to get in touch with people. My real pleasure, far beyond is photography.
