How has your photography improved as a result of taking the course?
SD: Honestly? I think I improved more as an artistic human being than improving my photography technique. And that happened, I believe, because that's who I am. I always come from a place where I want to improve, as a human being . Art - in the form of SL photography - made me a better person. Hard to believe, but I feel it's my truth.
Do you have one specific moment, a class or lecture that has marked you in particular? Would you share it with us?
SD: The moment when Wren taught us all about the Fibonacci sequence. My background in RL is Foreign Languages and not Maths, so when she explained the Fibonacci sequence and its importance in an image, the balance it brings to a photo composition, that was a huge eye opener to me. I had absolutely no idea!
One last question, what comes next...?
SD: Oh… I am always in the "next moment". Meaning after I graduated from Visionaire and that was back in 2014, I think, every photo I take, I'm so much "myself" there. I have Visionaire to thank for, Wren and Nariko for teaching us that we are who we are and our photos are the result of who we are. And every photo since then, for me, it's pure magic. It may not be technically edited in any photo or image editor software, but it has all of me in it! It has been quite a ride, since I graduated from Visionaire, in terms of the visual aspect of my SL!
