JF: What do you like to do when you are not taking photos?
BT: in-World? When I am not taking pictures…? I get the most joy from hanging out with a very small group of friends who mean a great deal to me
JF: If you can give any advice to new photographers, what would it be?
BT: That's easy: start with the tools SL gives you and learn everything about phototools and windlights.
JF: What are other methods do you use outside of SL for your photos?
BT: You mean photo editing tools, like Photoshop? (laughs) I used Lightroom, which is a nice way to get familiar with editing programme but I don’t use it anymore.
JF: What do you think about “faves” on Flickr?
BT: As humans we all crave to be accepted… And “faving” fulfils that core need. Beyond that, it can and does mean many things depending on who you are and what your agenda is.
JF: I agree.
JF: what do you think about people bumping photos?
BT: (laughs) Bumping ties into the “faving” psychology and the need to ensure one is accepted. Sometimes over and over again.
JF: Are you guilty of it?
BT: No way! Once, I post, I move on…
JF: Who are the designers you usually buy clothes and accessories from?
BT: I love designers. Without them, we wouldn’t be here. I admire, respect and am inspired by designers. They are creative geniuses to me. I am lucky enough to know a couple, but I am inspired by those I don't know as well.
JF: How about Ella? Is she the woman that won your heart?
BT: (laughs) I don't and never would talk about my SL relationships. However, as far as Ella the individual, the person: she is a genuine strong woman and she is a rock star!
JF: Oh I love that! (laughs)
JF: Melancholy and happiness is the theme of this first issue. What do these words mean to you? When you think about them?
BT: Well, they are much like Yin Yang to me. They need each other to be in balance; both are powerful human emotions quite difficult to express in imagery.
JF: Thank you very much for taking the time to sit with me and answer these questions and for sharing with us your amazing works of art.
BT: Thank you for your time and energy. I look forward to seeing the first issue and everyone’s amazing art.
