AL: Where do you find your inspiration for your photography?
SM: Ideas just blow up, like a little bomb in your brain. Sometimes you are watching a movie or reading a book... then your mind has a vision and, wow, you need to do it! It was not that easy originally, but from the moment I learnt to make my own poses, everything became easier as I can do exactly what I have in mind... At least till my graphic capabilities support me.
AL: Do you have SL or RL photographers that influence your work?
SM: In general, I am not influenced by the photographers themselves but there's one factor which makes me try and try to reach for better results. I love and pursue always the reality effect. So anyone who makes something which looks more real than mine (and there are a lot) spurs me to try to go further, to achieve something more. It's a sort of positive influence which I believe we all have: a reciprocal influence among each other to make our work better and better.
AL: With the mass of photographers in Second Life, how do you set yourself apart?
SM: I don't try to set myself apart. I just do what I have in mind. If someone likes it, I am flattered, but if nobody loves it, I did it for myself because SL is our own little free space.
AL: What would be your advice to other individuals who might want to start a career or a hobby as a SL photographer?
SM: As a career, it is not worth unless you are a phenomenon. As hobby, it is the best hobby you can find in SL, because this is a beautiful world, pictures can be captured in a more artistic way!
AL: Do you have any future goals for your SL and your photography?
SM: In this moment, my future goal is to complete this magazine. I am very involved in this new project, as it's based on my own passion and the same passion is making me work on it even when I don't have time. And it won't be that easy considering the discussion I always have with my Executive Editor; she makes me
