Message from DIRECTOR
Winter is coming, and that would not be nice to hear if you live into a quite popular tv series, but luckily we aren’t stuck into a medieval age and the cold season is not such a drama as long we can stay tosty and cozy inside our nice warm homes.
Winter is the coldest season of the year and, despite in many part of world doesn’t happen, in the collective imaginary it’s characterized by falling snow and freezing cold temperatures.
Days are short, nights are too long while lights are feeble.
As everybody knows, it’s nice in these days to stay home, sitting close to the fireplace and maybe slowly sip a warm chocolate (together with some Danish butter biscuits would be even better).
But more than the physical comforts we may have, it’s what runs into our mind that intrigue us.
In this sun-less season, often our thoughts keep falling into the darkness while our dream tends to go up to the light shine, so it’s natural that in this mindset, in these extreme condition, the human mind tends to the excess, feeling the depth of the melancholy and just after flying to a bracing full happiness.
Dark as the sky, candid as the snow.
This is the reason why we have dedicated this first number to these two faces of our mood which will be with us along the next cold months.
Of course this magazine is not a psychological analysis of human brain but it wants to be an humble hymn to the photography in which many like me, have placed their own passion into this whimsical and extravagant virtual world so called Secondlife.
So, I suggest you to take your most comfortable chair, lay down and enjoy what our we have backed for you. Amazing shoots done by excellent artists are here waiting for being discovered and loved by you, as we have loved while we were preparing this magazine.
And of course, I wish you all amazing shoots!
