1 Use APOTHECARY (reverse) and ORNITHOLOGY as your
background pieces left and right respectively. 6 Cut two of the 7.5 x 10cm (3 x 4") cards from ANTIQUITY
and adhere them in place using double sided tape.
2 Trim the border pieces off the two SHADOW BOX die cut
pieces. Only leave the narrow pieces inside. 7 3 Cut pieces of PLUMOLOGY (reverse) BOTANIST (reverse)
and ANTIQUITY (reverse) and adhere them to the back
of the SHADOW BOX die cut pieces. Adhere the SHADOW
BOX die cut pieces to the background so that they are
flush in the middle of your layout. Cut out flowers from BOTANIST (reverse) and adhere them
to the left and right hand of your pages. Use foam tape to
raise some of the flowers.
8 Use the film strip and grunge template to add stencilling.
Stencil in dark brown ink and then add more layered
stencilling using copper texture paste. Leave to dry.
4 Use a sewing machine and randomly stitch over some of
the lines of the SHADOW BOX die cut pieces. 9 5 Sand edges of photos. Adhere the photos to the
background as per the sample image. Photos measure
10 x 14.5cm (4 x 5½"), 6.5 x 7cm (2½ x 2¾") and 6.5 x 8cm
(2½ x 3¼"). Add stamping in some of the blocks. Add stamping onto
patterned paper pieces and trim the pieces to fit inside
the smaller blocks. Add barcode strip and ruler strip from
the collectables below the photos at the bottom.
10 To finish off your layout add embellishments, layered
collectables – the butterfly and ticket on top of scrunched
up thread pieces. Add ink splats using grey ink and pieces
from the flourish pack.
