Other: Watercolour Powder, Gauze, Thread, Sequins, Modelling Paste.
instructions
1 Use FOAM as the background for this layout and add sewing
stitching around the edge of the paper in a sand colour
2 Add stencilling using the ripples stencil and some modelling
paste to the FOAM pattern paper and allow to dry. Use the
watercolour powder to add colour over the stencilled area.
3 Fussy cut the hexagons out of the SEA CHANGE paper and
choose those to suit your photo. Adhere an additional piece
of hexagon cut out that has been torn to the top of each
hexagon curling back the torn edge as pictured.
4 Cut a piece of corrugate card slightly larger than the 10 x
7.5cm landscape photo and add a coat of gesso to completely
cover. Adhere your photo to the centre once dry.
5 Take your chosen hexagons and cut another hexagon from
the corrugate card slightly larger for each hexagon.
6 Add gesso randomly to a sheet of corrugate card as well as
the hexagons cut from the corrugate card and sit aside to dry.

7 Tear sections of the background FOAM paper and
curl back the torn edges before adhering to the sheet
of corrugate card. Adhere the hexagons to their
corresponding corrugate hexagon and then adhere to the
layout adding foam tape for dimension as needed when
layering as pictured.
8 Add a little splatter to the page with watered down gesso.
Repeat with a little of the watercolour powder added in
to tint it to a light blue.
9 Add journaling to a piece pattern paper left from the
above steps cutting it into strips before adding the
writing. Adhere these with some dimension to the right-
hand side of the page.

Adhere your photo along with the coral die cut elemen ts,
‘wild barefoot and free’ banner and title words from the
collections pack to the page to finish.
