Team Check We don‘t only want to sound out our readers, we also want to introduce our team to you more closely. For every issue, one of our team members will introduce themselves here in our Team Check. Andrea Where does your interest in Korea come from? It all started with a big coincidence: I found a TVXQ music video on Youtube and was instantly lashed. I wanted to know who these guys were, what else they did, but also what that language was they were singing in. Ater that I spent a lot of time working myself through the entire K-pop scene of the time. hat was more than seven years ago but I never lost interest and it’s not all about K-pop anymore. I ind the Korean culture fascinating, the language is beautiful and I’d love to just spend a year travelling all through Korea, to visit as many places and meet as many people as I can. Apart from a few western artists I exclusively listen to Korean music. I’m also fascinated by the Korean language and am determined to learn it at some point – of course I’d love to do that in Korea. hrough spending so much time on all thing Korean I also discovered a culture that is quite diferent from ours, and I’d love to learn a lot more about it. he fact the we are now taking the next step with KSL relects how much our projects have grown and that we’re deinitely not the small fan project of 2008 anymore. It also shows how much our team has grown with these projects and how the ups and downs we’ve gone through over time have made us closer. Which memories or anecdotes come to mind when you think about these past years?
