as a cool thing. We’re hoping to change
that way of thinking.
What has it been like to be a mentor to
these young men?
Well someone mentored me when I was
younger, and I want to do the same for

these young men. I see it as an uplifting,
personal obligation. I didn’t realize
how much work we have to do with our
young men. It makes me proud to see
the strides that they’re making. I’m in
this for the long haul.
