Q& A
Ask Manny
“I heard that if you pee after having sex, you won’t get
pregnant. Is that true?” – Bonita, 17
No that is not true, a girl can get pregnant anytime she has
sex. Condoms and birth control can help prevent pregnancy,
but peeing after sex won’t do the trick.
Ask Manny
“What happens when you have an STD?” - David, 15
Sometimes it could take a few months for symptoms to show
up, but the most common “symptom” of having an STD is
no symptom at all. If an STD is left untreated, it can lead to
cancer, infertility, and other health risks. Some STDs can be
fully cured, but a person would have to go to a doctor and get
tested. Check out your nearest health center for more info.
