SUCCESS
I said to myself, Malala,
you must be brave.
You must not be afraid of anyone.
You are trying to get an education.
You are not committing a crime.”

In 2012, the world met Malala, a young girl who
stayed in school despite threats from the Taliban.
One day, Malala was attacked on her school bus by a
gunman. His goal was to silence Malala forever, but
he failed. She survived. At the age of 16, she won the
Nobel Peace Prize.
Although the Taliban still consider Malala a threat,
she remains an advocate for girls’ education.
