The OTC birth control pill is hormonal. You may miss out on other forms of birth control that suit you better. Having birth control easily available can help reduce unplanned pregnancies. Methods such as the implant and the IUD are better at preventing pregnancy, but you won’t be able to get that OTC. You don’t have to show proof of insurance or fill out extra paperwork. YOU will be responsible for researching the side effects and taking the pills correctly.
