Editors Letter
kitty and I decided this first Editors' Letter should be from
me because I am the skier in our duo.
OK, let me clarify - I'm a fair-weather skier who
appreciates a well-rounded ski experience. My husband
is the die-hard skier who wants our children to follow in
his wake.
We to ok our children to Breckenridge for their first skiing
experience. Why? Having be en mollycoddled all their life,
they wouldn't be able to cope with the ESF 'you ski with
no whinging' attitude. Plus, they only speak English. The
American imagery of pizza (for the snowplow) and fries
(for parallel skiing) was definitely their kind of language.
Finally, they were only 3 years old and French ski resorts
require a minimum age of 4 before ski scho ol.
My children loved it! They couldn't wait to go skiing again.
Mission accomplished.
