Crested Butte is go od for
mixed ability groups. It's a
historic coal mining town. It
has almost 450 acres of
double black terrain but there
are plenty of trails for all
abilities. 
Crested Butte is very child
friendly. For young skiers,
the resort has a winding kids
trails and a ski through bear
cave. There is a goldmining
building for interactive and
educational play. Fon non-

skiers, there are sleigh
rides, dog sleds, snow cat
driving and snow shoe tours.
You can go ice fishing at
Blue Mesa Reservoir and
horseback riding in the snow.
The resort's Adventure Park
features a tubing hill, rock
climbing, bunge e trampolines
and mini-golf. There is also
guided zipline tour with 5 zip
lines. Alternatively, relax at the
11 , 000 square fo ot Elevation
Spa or explore cultural
pursuits at the local theatre,
performing arts center and
children's museum.
