HERITAGE PROJECT

The Krama Heritage project (www.
krama-heritage.net) has made the
Krama a Parisian cutting-edge
fashion accessory worn by men and
women of all ages. Purchasers are
also supporting a local and social
project in Cambodia by giving
work to a cooperative of weavers
working in ethical conditions
in Phnom Penh. Each Krama
purchased also provides a
donation of €3 to the NGO
Pour un Sourire d’Enfant
(PSE) (For a Child’s Smile)
(http://pse.asso.fr).
PSE was founded fifteen years
ago by a French couple
Christian and Marie-France
Des Pallières. Every year,
more than 6,000 children
are schooled or attend
professional training at the
Phnom Penh PSE center to
lead them to a qualified job.
In 2000, PSE received the
Human Rights Prize of the
French Republic.
