Taking pictures has been a part of my daily routine for more than 35 years, beginning with a my brother's borrowed (I think he knew I did that) Olympus for shooting sports and family pet photos. My first, very own camera was a Minolta SLT 101 my folks gave me for high school graduation (and I still have it!). With the DSLR era, photography has become much more convenient, creative, and enjoyable to some degree. Photography has afforded me an opportunity to capture the fun and humor of everyday life, showcase the simplicity and complexity of nature, acknowledge the beauty of a built environment, and appreciate a world of color that each sunrise introduces and sunset punctuates.
